Based in a studio at the Stutz Building in Indianapolis for more than two decades, Susan creates large-format canvases and works on paper for residential and commercial spaces. She also creates pieces tailored to specific environments, developing original work for each client through consultation.

Her work is driven by imagination and inspired by dreams, meditation, and an inner dialogue shaped by her experience in the world. Through layers of color, texture, and suggestive forms, she builds compositions using a visual language of her own to explore the human condition and our relationship to environment, others, and self.

Each piece reflects a particular moment in her life while becoming an energy field of communication that is personal to every viewer.
